Lubbock County Crash Leads to Multi Vehicle Accident on Foggy West Texas Highway
U.S. Highway 84 was closed in both directions Friday in Lubbock County after a multi-vehicle pileup on the foggy highway.

The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office also reported crashes inside the Slaton city limits.
A Slaton Police Department post said eastbound Highway 84 toward post was completely shut down because of multiple accidents.
Seven Lubbock Fire Department units and 19 firefighters were on the scene.
A Department of Public Safety trooper got hit by a vehicle involved in a wreck. The trooper was taken to a local hospital.
The chain-reaction crashes apparently started with an accident involving an 18-wheeler east of Slaton Texas.
