Alex R. Hernandez Jr. PLLC handles felony matters with murder and homicide. We do not however handle Capital murder offenses which require a more specialized attorney.
What is the definition of Homicide? Homicide is when one human being causes the death of another. Not all homicide is murder, as some killings are manslaughter, and some are lawful, such as when justified by an affirmative defense, like insanity or self-defense.
Why is this different that murder? the definition of criminal murder is a homicide that is committed with malice or intentionally killing someone.
The difference between Homicide, Murder and Manslaughter is that manslaughter includes the unintentional killing of another.
The above are all felony offenses which the law firm currently handles.
Capital Murder offenses often include a death penalty and we do not handle death penalty cases at this time.
