Alex R. Hernandez Jr. is originally from the small community of Port Lavaca, Texas. A Calhoun High School graduate, Hernandez went on to Victoria College to earn his Associates, the University of Houston Victoria, and finally the University of Texas at Austin for his Bachelors in Economics obtaining the UT Austin Economics Student of the Year Award. He worked in San Antonio for investment firms before going to St. Mary’s University School of Law obtaining his Juris Doctor in 2001. He has been practicing since 2001 throughout Texas handling litigation and trial matters.
