TxDOT campaign fights texting while driving
“Talk/Text CRASH,” is an interactive traveling exhibit that has used driving simulators, video tablets and graphics to demonstrate the dangers of distracted driving across the state for the past five years.
The Talk/Text CRASH exhibit presents an immersive, interactive look at the dangers of texting. While most visitors might be familiar with the driving simulator — an often replicated feature that instructs participants to perform basic tasks on their phone while operating a replica wheel attached to a car seat and screen depicting oncoming hazards — other elements of the presentation offer viewers a more emotional connection.
